How it works

Up and running in a weekend

There's no big setup project. Get your blocks or vessels in and you can start recording the same day.

  1. 1

Set up your blocks & cellar

Draw your blocks on the map and add your vessels and products. Set up just the vineyard, just the winery, or both.

  2. 2

    Record as you go

Log sprays, intakes, ferments and tasks from a phone, out in the rows or at the tank. Put the whole crew on at no extra cost.

  3. 3

    Export when you're audited

When an auditor asks, your spray diary, chemical register and compliance reports come straight out as PDFs for whichever season they want.

From the weather to the work in the rows

These are real screens from the app, animated so you can see how each one plays out.

Vineyard

Log a spray, and the clock starts

Record the spray as you tank-mixed it. Vigneron pulls each product's withholding, re-entry and FRAC group, checks the spray window, totals the cost, and locks the harvest-safe date onto every block it covered.

  • Tank-mix products across the blocks you sprayed
  • Withholding, re-entry & cost worked out on save
  • Spray-window check, FRAC rotation & harvest warnings
Weather

See the disease pressure before it gets away

Vigneron reads your rainfall and temperature and works out powdery, downy and botrytis pressure for each block, day by day. It runs on your own weather station — connect a Weather Underground or Ecowitt feed, a sensor per block — topped up from the Bureau and Open-Meteo where there's a gap, or just key the readings in by hand. When the weather turns the screws the risk climbs and the suggested spray interval tightens, so you go out at the right time instead of guessing.

  • Powdery, downy & botrytis pressure per block
  • Your own station (Weather Underground or Ecowitt), the Bureau or hand readings
  • Suggested spray interval moves with the risk
Spray window

Spray when the conditions are right, and plan the week around them

Before you start, Vigneron checks Delta-T and wind against the spray-quality bands and tells you straight up whether it's suitable, marginal or one to hold off on. It runs the same check across the forecast too, hour by hour for the week ahead, so you can see which morning is your window and line the job up before you fill the tank.

  • Delta-T & wind read against the recommended bands
  • A clear suitable / marginal / unsuitable call, right now
  • The week ahead, hour by hour, so you pick the right day
Weather

Watch the season's heat add up

Every block tracks its growing degree days from budburst, with this season laid over the last. From the heat coming on now, Vigneron projects when each block should hit flowering, veraison and harvest, so you can line up labour and tanks ahead of time.

  • GDD from budburst, this season vs last
  • Flowering, veraison & harvest projected ahead
  • The season's heat at a glance, per block
Task board

Turn the plan into work that records itself

The weather tells you when; the board gets it done. Lay the week's work out on a board, drag a job onto the day you'll do it, and keep the whole crew on the same page. When the card is a spray, a fertiliser run or a pick, finishing it opens the record already filled in, so the diary and the withholding clock stay up to date without a second entry.

  • Plan the week on a board — to do, scheduled, done
  • Drag a job onto a day and it schedules the work
  • Spray, fertiliser & harvest cards flow into the record

Grow grapes, make wine, or both

Set up for the way you work

Only grow grapes? Set up the vineyard side and leave it there. Only make wine? Just the winery. Crush for other growers and there's a side for keeping their lots straight and invoicing them. You only pay for the parts you use.

For growers

Vineyard

$20 a month

Everything to do with growing the fruit, built around the spray diary and its withholding clock.

  • Spray diary with withholding & re-entry windows per block
  • Spray windows & disease pressure from your own weather station, the Bureau or hand readings
  • Task board — plan the week, drag work onto a day, sprays flow to the diary
  • Analysis — spray coverage, ripening & harvest, water balance & season timing
  • Blocks, sites, a satellite map, scouting, phenology, maturity & yield
  • Fertiliser, irrigation, soil & tissue tests, crews & labour hours
  • Equipment, inventory & chemical register
For winemakers

Winemaking

$20 a month

Take fruit from the weighbridge through to finished, labelled stock, with every lot traceable along the way.

  • Fruit intakes, wine lots, vessels & transfers
  • Ferment curves — baume, temperature, additions, SO₂
  • Blending with live Label Integrity (85%) checks
  • Maturation, fining, work orders & cellar tasks
  • Bottling through to finished-goods stock
  • Dry goods & batch additions
For custom-crush

Contract winemaking

$20 a month on top of the winery

Make wine for other growers and bill them for it, without keeping a second system for the paperwork.

Everything in Winemaking, plus:

  • Client register — the growers whose fruit you process
  • Contract-processing charges & price lists
  • GST tax invoices, per client
  • Per-lot costing to price each job
  • Label Integrity & lot reports to hand back
  • Each client's lots kept cleanly separate

Doing both? That's where Estate comes in: your vineyard and winery on the one record, so fruit you grow flows straight into the cellar and you get grape-to-bottle traceability two separate systems can't give you.

No matter which side you're on, you also get
  • Compliance reports and PDF exports
  • Audit trail on every record
  • Roles & permissions, down to read-only
  • Seasons / vintages across everything
  • CSV & PDF exports throughout
  • Installs like an app, works on any phone

Why it matters

Ready for the auditor

Vigneron keeps track of the rules so you don't have to.

Withholding & re-entry

Every spray sets the clock on the blocks it covered, and you'll get a warning before anyone harvests into an open withholding period.

Label Integrity

Blends are checked against the 85% rule as you build them, and your vintage, variety and region declarations lock in at bottling.

Audit trail

Every record keeps track of who entered it and when, in the vineyard and the winery alike.

Exports for the auditor

Spray diary, chemical register and block records come out as PDFs in a couple of minutes, for whichever season the auditor asks about.

Day to day

Made for the people doing the work

On the phone, in the rows

Vigneron installs from the browser, so there's no app store and nothing to update. Record the spray while the tank's still filling.

Unlimited operators

Pricing is per organisation, not per person, so put the whole crew on: staff, contractors and the agronomist.

Seasons built in

Every record sits under a vintage, so comparing this season with last is a click rather than a dig through spreadsheets.

Your data, always

Everything exports to CSV or PDF, and if you ever leave, your records come with you.

Pricing

Simple, flat & public

Per organisation, per month, in AUD ex-GST. Pay yearly and two months are free. Every plan starts with a 30-day trial of the lot, no credit card needed.

Vineyard

Spray diary, blocks, scouting, tasks & vineyard reporting.

Winery

No lock-in

Pricing you can see, data you can take with you

Our prices are right here on the page, while a lot of winery software makes you book a sales call to find them out. Your records are yours to export whenever you want, and if a subscription lapses the workspace turns read-only rather than vanishing. The people who use this get audited, so we make the careful option the default.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Every new organisation gets 30 days of everything, both sides and all the features. You pick a plan when you're ready, and that's the first time you'll enter any card details.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your workspace turns read-only. Nothing gets deleted, and you can still open and export every record. Your chemical record-keeping obligations don't stop just because a subscription did, so we won't lock you out of your own history.

Is it really flat pricing?

Yes. Plans are priced per organisation, not per person. Put as many operators on as you like, contractors and the agronomist included, at no extra cost.

I only grow grapes, or only make wine. Do I need the whole thing?

No. The vineyard and the winery are sold separately at $20 each, so take just the one you need and add the other later if things change. Estate puts the two together for anyone taking their own fruit all the way through to bottle.

What if I make wine for other growers (contract or custom crush)?

Take the winery side and add contract crush for another $20 a month. On top of everything in winemaking you get a client register, contract-processing charges, GST tax invoices and per-lot costing, with each grower's lots kept separate.

Does it replace my paper spray diary?

Yes. A spray record holds what an Australian spray diary needs: product, rate, weather, operator and withholding period. It prints to PDF if someone still wants it on paper.

Will it work in the shed with no signal?

Vigneron installs from the browser like an app and opens straight away. It's built for recording on a phone out in the rows or the cellar. Full offline recording is something we're still working on.

Can I get my data out?

Always. There are CSV and PDF exports throughout, and you can ask for a complete export of your organisation's data whenever you want. It's yours, and the Terms say so in writing.

How do I move my existing records across?

Set up your blocks and vessels and start recording from your current vintage. Most people are up and going over a weekend. If you want to bring older history across, get in touch and we'll give you a hand.

Ready to get your records sorted?

We're onboarding in batches. Leave your details and we'll be in touch.
