Terms of Service

Version 2026-06-12

⚠ Draft — pending legal review. Not yet binding.

1. The service

Vigneron is a subscription platform for vineyard and winery record-keeping, compliance and operations, provided by the operator of myvigneron.com ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account, your team's access, and keeping credentials secure. One person may belong to multiple organisations. You must be authorised to act for the organisation you register.

3. Your data — you own it

The grower or winery owns the data it records. You can export your data at any time, and we will not hold it hostage. If a subscription lapses, your workspace becomes read-only but your records remain viewable and exportable — this matters because agricultural-chemical record-keeping duties sit with you. We retain lapsed-account data for at least 12 months and only purge after explicit notice.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to breach other tenants' data, or use it unlawfully. We isolate each organisation's data; you must not attempt to access another organisation's records.

5. Fees & billing

Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page in AUD, exclusive of GST. New organisations start a 30-day free trial. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe; GST is applied where required. You can change or cancel your plan from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

6. Compliance is your responsibility

Vigneron helps you keep records and computes withholding/re-entry periods from the information you enter, but it is not a substitute for the current registered product label or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying compliance for your situation.

7. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be notified and may require re-acceptance.

8. Termination

You may close your organisation at any time (with a data-export prompt first). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

9. Liability & governing law

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
